A Catholic men’s brotherhood

About the Order of the Rosary

Built on a rule, not a slogan. Five Rosaries. Three training days. One act of service. Each week.

What it is

A lay brotherhood.

The Order of the Rosary is a lay Catholic men’s brotherhood. William Bastian founded it in 2026 in Vancouver, Washington. It is in formation. Not a club. Not a nonprofit yet. The creed is first. The kit funds the work.

We are laymen kept by a weekly rule. A man does not wait for a chapter house. He keeps the week. When brothers are found, they keep it together.

The rule

The 5-3-1 Rule.

Each week: five Rosaries, three training days, and one act of service. That is the rule until a house is built. Read the 5-3-1 Rule.

Five Rosaries. Five decades, five days at least. The Rosary is the rule, not the decoration.

Three training days. Strength, not spectacle. The body is kept because the soul has work.

One act of service. Parish labor, a brother’s need, a hidden mercy. Counted, not posted.

What this is not

Not the Dominicans. Not the Confraternity.

The name is older than we are. The Dominican Order has historically been nicknamed the “Order of the Rosary.” The Confraternity of the Most Holy Rosary is its own association in the Church.

We are not affiliated with the Dominican Order or with the Confraternity of the Most Holy Rosary. We do not speak for either. If you are looking for the Dominicans or for the Confraternity, go to them directly.

Disaster relief remains the end of the Order, not the door. The work now is the rule, the kit, and men of caliber found at the parish.

Inquire

Keep the rule. Then write.

We are not collecting a list. We are looking for Catholic men who will pray, train, and do one real work each week.
